Ένα κελί είναι το σπίτι μου. Ένα κελί και η καρδιά μου.
Καμιά φορά κλείνω τα μάτια και σκέφτομαι τον κόσμο που ήξερα. Σκέφτομαι όλα αυτά που θεωρούσα ως δεδομένα. Ένα πιάτο φαΐ, ένα ποτήρι νερό, μια μικρή κουβέντα, ένα χάδι, τον ήλιο στο πρόσωπο μου. Ανακαλώ στιγμές ελευθερίας, στιγμές ζωής.
Είμαι κλεισμένος σε αυτό το κελί εδώ και πολύ καιρό, περισσότερο απ' όσο μπορεί να συγκρατήσει η μνήμη μου. Ένα κελί φτιαγμένο από κραυγές, σκοτάδι και ατσάλι. Για μήνες ουρλιάζω σαν τρελός, βαράω τους τοίχους, μέχρι να ματώσουν τα χέρια μου. Πλέον αρχίζω και καταλαβαίνω πως δεν πρόκειται να έρθει κανείς να με βγάλει. Είμαι μόνος, ξεχασμένος...
Ξύπνησα πάλι στο παγωμένο πάτωμα. Ένας εκκωφαντικός ήχος μου τρύπησε τα αυτιά. Κάτι έσπασε την μισητή σιωπή της κόλασης μου. Η πόρτα ανοίγει. Φως μπαίνει από ψηλά.
Φωνές.
Ακούω φωνές!

A cell is my home. A cell is my heart.
Sometimes I close my eyes and think about the world I knew. I think about all these things that I've taken for granted. A plate of food, a glass of water, a little chat, a caress, the sun on my face. I recall moments of freedom, moments of life.
I'm locked in this cell for a long time, more than I can remember. A cell made of screams, darkness and steel. For months I scream like I'm going crazy, I'm banging the walls until my hands bleed. As the days go by I begin to understand that no one is coming for me. I am alone, I am forgotten...
I woke up again on the icy floor. A deafening sound pierced my ears. Something broke the hateful silence of my hell. The door opens. Light enters from above.

I hear voices!
